"Baltimore Brass" is an original scratchboard drawing of a flugelhorn player, by Ann Ranlett. Ann took the photo of this musician at the Baltimore Harbor a number of years ago. Through the magic of the internet, she has since learned his name (Japheth Clark) and has been in touch with him.

The detail in this drawing is incredible and is created entirely with scratching with a knife and re-inking with pens (and scratching... and re-inking... as needed).

The art is 8" x 10", mounted to an archival backing board that Ann painted to look a bit distressed. The frame is 11" x 14", the entire piece measures approximately 14" x 16". The surface of the drawing has been sealed for protection.
